Proposed Chapter 6 ASLP-IC Rule on Joint Investigations
Proposed Chapter 7 ASLP-IC Rule Post Graduate Professional Experience
Proposed Chapter 8 ASLP-IC Rule National Examination
Proposed Chapter 9 ASLP-IC Rule on Military Identification

Purpose: These proposed rules are intended to clarify and implement the provisions of the compact and to promote consistent administration across member jurisdictions.

Authority: Section 3: State Participation in the Compact; Section 8: Establishment of the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact Commission; Section 10: Rulemaking

Comment Period Start Date: Tuesday, April 28, 2026

Comment Period End Date: Via email by 5 p.m., EDT on Thursday, May 28, 2026, or: by attending the ASLP-IC Special Commission Meeting on Monday, June 29, 2026, at 1 p.m., EDT via virtual teleconference (Zoom).

The Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC) Commission has scheduled a Special Commission Meeting on Monday, June 29, 2025, at 1 p.m., EDT.  

At this meeting, the commission will review and vote on a proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Operating Budget for ASLP-IC, and review and vote on the rules listed above.

The participation and engagement of voting delegates during the full ASLP-IC Commission Meetings is necessary. The commission cannot conduct official business without a quorum present. Additional meeting information will be shared soon.
